Introduction to 'My Premier League Thoughts' by Lee Harwood

Introducing myself and my Premier League Blog.

Hello, what the hell am i getting myself into here?
Well hopefully a long, successful career giving my opinions on a deep passion i have for the beautiful game: football.
Yeah, I'm a young teenager in a dreamland trying to make it big as a blogger, sharing to hundreds of readers my view on the Premier League in-particularly, so let's give it a try.

To me, football is life. The quote 'If stepping onto a football field does not make you forget your problems. Nothing will.' has been so predominant and inspiring throughout my personal football career. An enormous amount of my life has been juggled with the fact of my love for football, whether it is playing for local teams since the ripe age of 4, or being determined to get in front of the television for 'Super Saturdays' to get lost in awe at watching some of the greatest players on the planet.
Manchester United. The team i adore. Growing up i was amazed by how teams were taught how to play football by Sir Alex's masterclass at tactics and getting the best out of players. Arguably the greatest ever manager took fairly average players, if i'm honest, and created them into title winners and even world-beaters when  Manchester United triumphed in the 2008 Champions League. Some may call me a glory hunter but in my younger age when it was the weekend i just couldn't get enough of the Red Devils.
One particular Manchester United player has had an instrumental effect on the way i personally play football and he goes by the name of Wayne Rooney. When i started out playing football, i was much taller than many other kids and so i ended up being a center-back for my local team Oakworth Juniors. Progressing from the Under 4 side to the Under 9's i enjoyed being on the field as part of a very strong team where we would win many titles and as an individual i would year in, year out win the 'Player's Player Of The Year' accolade.
However, after many successful years with the team, i decided a change of team would benefit me. so with that i switched perhaps controversially to Oakworth's main rivals Keighley Shamrocks.
This is the part of my life where i think my football progress really moved up a gear. Within a season i was on the books at the professional side Bradford City. Experience from training and playing here really kicked off my footballing pathway. I started to learn a more technical way to play and from this gained a much preferred position for myself in the center of the midfield. A very demanding role, which i thoroughly enjoyed due to the fact of being much more involved in play, scoring goals and and having the commanding captains armband.
A huge opportunity came my way in a preseason friendly where i was asked to play as the main striker because of the usual goalscorer being unavailable. And this is where my inspiration Wayne Rooney really influenced my football. i was committed to playing just like id seen my aspiration play on the screen on the wall in my house. I aimed to try be a nightmare for the two defenders i was up against. Not too long after the second half had began, a pass came to my feet and i was through on goal, One V One against the goalkeeper, a scenario i had witnessed thousands of times in games on TV. Confidently, i charged towards the goal, looked up and took the ball past the goalkeeper, slotting the Nike T90 football into the open goal. I had pasted the test of if i was capable enough to be a striker.
The season panned out and at the end i came out with a pretty hefty 19 goal debut season in striker, which i am still proud to have achieved!

Anyway, i hoped you enjoyed me spilling my whole footballing life story to you and i hope you've learnt a little bit about me from that.
However, the point of my blog will be to give you my insight on the results and gossip from each Premier League weekend.
I am going to be discussing all the action, goals, controversy and of course what i think the result suggests for each team. Basically, i aim to have fun doing this, which im pretty sure i will, and also i would love to have a blog that you readers want to come back to each week.
I hope to see you in the next blog, which will be the debut of my opinions on the Premier League action.

If you have any suggestions, i would happily invite them and appreciate all the support.
